Ahh, 480p in 2021. Never thought I would see the day.

Even of it were included they'd just make up some HDCP issue and stream it to you at 720p anyway

Amazon loves doing that with movies. TV goes down to 480p this way

Does VUDU still offer the upconvert option for discs? If so it may be a decent deal.

Meanwhile most people watch things on their phones.............. who cares if the phone is 4K HD or whatever. Still a tiny screen. Not for me though.

That is an incorrect assumption.

If there are digital copies they are not from Amazon, they would be from Vudu.

I am skeptical that digital is actually included.

Bond movies are not eligible for Vudu's disc to digital.

Why are Spectre and Skyfall not on Prime? I thought Amazon owned the Bond franchise.

Yeah, I just can't recommend buying DVDs in 2021. Unless it's an older movie, or one that doesn't rely on visuals.

With Bond streaming in 4K on services, not certain why a DVD pickup is a good idea. Yes, the price is low, but so is the fidelity.

480p is still garbage on a phone.

DVDs should no longer exist. They're the new VHS. Blu-Ray players are now cheap enough for pretty much anyone to get one. 4K blu-ray players are a different story, but anyone still buying DVDs is wasting their money. The quality of a DVD wouldn't even look good on a screen as small as a phone, let alone a TV.
