The thing I hate about using gift cards at Lowes, and maybe Home Depot is the same, god forbid you have to return something, they treat you like a criminal. And the return gift card they issue can only be used by the person returning! In the past, I had my wife return something I purchased with gift card (with receipt), a new gift card issued, but she needs to be there to use (with drivers license). I get that it's probably cut down on fraud, still a pain to honest customers.

Completely agreed with you that it's a PITA. On top of that they also ask for your ID which makes no sense since there's a receipt for the return. And it's not a gift card but a store merchandise card and it can't be use online either

Yep, same here. Bonus didn't come. Did yours ever show up?

Update: Tried the contact us form, the Submit button doesn't work. I called the support line, it says to use chat. Chat is closed lol. Finally got to a person, and he's "resending" the bonus gift card, and says it can take 30 mins to an hr. Not sure if this is how it goes for everyone, but the hassle wasn't worth the $15 bonus to me.

I think I had issues with my Ad-blocker. I turned off my phone wi-fi and forced it to use LTE and it finally went through.

Haven't received the codes yet though.

Ya, it's their new effort to combat fraud. What's hilarious is I use a gift card for an online purchase, and then return it and get a gift card for store credit. They don't even credit it back anymore, or at least let you use the GC online. Much like everything else in this world, the 99% of honest/law-abiding citizens have to pay for the 1% of dishonest people. It's easier for the stores, so they just make us all suffer.

None, I bought my fridge with gift cards. Don't let some dumb employee tell you the gift cards are for online purchases only. I ended up going to a different Lowe's because they made up there own rules

I bought mine through different deals. I don't know the limit for this website. Sometimes I bought $50- $500 worth. I just saved up for black Friday.

Get the limit that you can for this deal. Lowe's gift cards sometimes takes months to pop up. I have no need for any right now. I bought my washer and fridge this way.

You'll never know when these gift card deals pop up. Last time I waited 3 months. Sometimes they come 1 week after the other. It took me about 1 year to accumulate $1000 with of gift card deals where I only paid $900. If you are a veteran/military, the additional 10% off at Lowes sweetens the deal. I basically got my appliances 20% off before taxes.

My $100 and $15 arrived in less than 5 minutes. Please note that there is a daily limit of only 1 purchase

Edit: it's an absolute limit not daily limit as I thought previously. So only 1 allowed per user
