The thing I hate about using gift cards at Lowes, and maybe Home Depot is the same, god forbid you have to return something, they treat you like a criminal. And the return gift card they issue can only be used by the person returning! In the past, I had my wife return something I purchased with gift card (with receipt), a new gift card issued, but she needs to be there to use (with drivers license). I get that it's probably cut down on fraud, still a pain to honest customers.

Completely agreed with you that it's a PITA. On top of that they also ask for your ID which makes no sense since there's a receipt for the return. And it's not a gift card but a store merchandise card and it can't be use online either

UGH! I should have listened to you! This freaking hassle is not worth the $15.

It doesn't increase my balance by $15. It only reflects the $100

Edit: it's an absolute limit not daily limit as I thought previously. So only 1 allowed per user
I'm having problems redeeming the $15 card. Did you purchase your lowes card from GCM yet? I didn't realize this deal was for GCM gift cards and not Lowes cards directly. This extra step is a freaking headache

I thought those Happy gift cards can only be used in store? If you already shop in-store, good deal, but I find most of the great deals are online.

That used to be the case. Some of them can be used online now. Just make sure you buy the right one. It should say something like "Online Exchange Required" on the bottom.
