Can I transfer my current subscription if I replace my old satellite radio with a newer one?
Yes! You can transfer your current service to a different radio, as long as your old radio is not currently active on a trial subscription. Certain restrictions apply for Lifetime plans you may want to transfer. Also, please note you cannot transfer a trial subscription to another radio.
Click here if you want to transfer your paid subscription to your new vehicle.
Click here if you'd prefer to have this done for you over chat. When chatting online, please make sure to select 'Sold/Traded My Vehicle' from the Category drop down menu.
There's a one-time fee which varies by package type. For most packages, the transfer fee is $15. Please note that there are different rules and fees for transferring Lifetime Subscriptions. Each of the fees which you may be charged will be subject to applicable taxes.
In early 2018 I bought a used model year 2008 car that had an inactive SIriusXM. I don't know when the subscription was most recently active prior to my buying the car.
In autumn 2021 I signed up for the 6 months free trial. After the trial ended I did not continue with a subscription. I received multiple marketing emails from Sirius per week after the lapse, but I clicked no links and do not allow external images to load in my email client. (Both are common ways for companies to track the fact that you've read an email.)
I first got the offer via those marketing emails in late mid April 2022. Today, May 9th, I took the plunge. I paid $180 total for 5 years of subscription.

I'm sure they still have subscribers from when they were 2 seperate companies and sold a lifetime transferable membership.
This was for a 2015 vehicle (free year ended in November 2016)

Umm, let's see ... could it be, maybe the deal that this thread is discussing?
BTW, you might want to brush up on your English grammar. The pronoun "this" is never used for a place; it is used to identify a person or thing (generally something nearby or recently experienced)
Your correct question (still rather strange) should have been "What is the "this"? (Also note, "?" goes after the close quote, not inside.
My 2015 that cancelled yesterday was only food for $99 for 12 months.
