Better get it now and have it installed before YouTube gets removed. I am slowly moving all tv away from Roku. Too many disputes. 1st it was HBO that took about 8 months to resolve, the. YouTube TV, now YouTube and I read that there is a dispute with Amazon.in the horizon.

Good price, but this is 2020 model. There is no 2021 Roku Ultra.

There are not 2. There is no 2021 Ultra. So this is the newest Ultra Roku, 4800R.

I have been team Roku since the audio Soundbridge days. Between the platform issues and the pretty much elimination of 'side channels' , I decided not to replace an Ultra which they bricked during the latest upgrade, but move completely to Chromecast/Google TV

Me too, but long term they have the market share and monetize users at a clip of $40 each. I think they all want to take what Roku has built but none of the big fish are willing to pay what would be required to acquire at this point...if they'd sell.

I've had android tv devices for almost 5 years now and haven't had an issue with Amazon Video being pulled the entire time. In the last couple of years alone, Roku has had fights with multiple streaming services, sometimes more than once. You don't see these issues happening with Apple TV or Android TV, so the root cause of these issues seem to be Roku themselves trying to make more profits.

I got this on sale a few weeks back and it does what I wanted, local storage and enough power to run resource hogs like Directv Stream. I swapped around the Firestick 4K max but both are good. I used my $66 in Prime Visa points to pay for it. Oh Yeah, the one thing I like the most is that volume and mute button on the side of Roku remote. The FTV Max mute was hard to find in the dark and I use it a lot.

Ordered the Roku Ultra LT for $35 from Walmart with "2-day shipping."

At 2am on delivery day, they send me an e-mail saying it's delayed.

I cancelled it, and now they're sending me e-mails saying "Hey! Take another look at that Roku, why dontcha?!"

Order from Amazon if you want it actually shipped.
