Honestly can this sprayer be used for anything other than disinfectant? I feel like they produced this thing thinking they'd make a bundle because of covid and no one bought them and are unloading inventory.

The Handheld Electrostatic Sprayer allows you to spray disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and deodorizers with cordless convenience.

that is 100% the case. they made a shitload of them and then realized that surface spread is really minimal, and now they are trying to unload them. im surprised, actually, that they didnt modify them to be something else... imo that goes to show how cheap it is to actually make these things... converting them to something else is more money than its worth.
im also curious to hear if there is anything worthwhile to use them for other than trying to sell them on the used market.

I mean even if they could be used as a small handheld chemical sprayer for gardens or flower beds would be tremendous but it doesn't seem to be the case.

id say any thing you can think of that would be sprayd out of a handheld pump sprayer would work. all that is coming to mind is cleaners. lol. maybe some herbicides/pesticides, etc, but im pretty sure they spray a very fine mist that might be more prone to getting blown around.

Heck even spraying spider repellent around my foundation would be great. But what I ultimately would like it to do would be spray stain for my deck but I've seen many posts poo poo that idea. Even if it was not oil based I can't see how it would be all that bad. Maybe not the best for even coverage but I could roll out the thick spots maybe.

Yeah I read home depot's description, but didn't know if anyone had real world uses beyond that.

Wait a minute... Ur running gojo through it? Even if it's watered down gojo? Lol. Or is it a thin smooth version without pumice?

No lol, it's called Awesome Orange (similar to OxyClean) and works good in the garage for light to moderate degreasing.
Ahh yes I know what ur talking about. But still... that's nothing too much of a liquid. And it works well?
I wouldn't call it great but adequate. It's pretty fine mist but I just hold it close to the item I want to hit.
