2 Games are available today for free if your a pro member. If your not a pro member you can do a free trial and check it out. Stadia is available on mobile, PC, and TV using chromecast. Play using touch screen, bluetooth controller, or keyboard and mouse.

I can't believe after all this time, and with Google search being a thing, that people still don't understand how it works. You can buy a game and play it just like you would any other game you buy. No subscription. No other cost. Alternately, you can buy a pro subscription and play a number of titles for free. You can also permanently add games to your subscription library by simply adding them whenever they are free. Does anyone need it spelled out in crayons?

If you don't want to pay a subscription you can also just buy the games individually and play them for free forever.

I'm missing something here… If I sign up and then I pay for a game that's $39, do I still have to pay the $9.99 a month fee to play the game I paid $39 for?

Any game you buy is forever yours to play. The $9.99 Pro sub is like Xbox Games with Gold/PS Plus and you give you like 35-40 games to play (and more added 1st of every month), and enables 4K HDR 5.1 audio and give you additional discounts during sales.

I didn't see any comment about it but certain ISP with data plan users might be interested to know that playing Stadia consumes up to 20GB/hour (https://support.google.com/stadia...91?hl=en).
So for example, for COX users, the data cap is 1280GB per month, which is 64 hours of play assuming you don't do anything else (no AVOD, etc.)

Please read, the post is about getting the game for free, and it's not free, it's only included with the paid service portion. Yes, stadia itself is free but you need pay for the games full price. But no need to get into a huge debate. If you feel it's a good deal for you then get it.

I was replying to the fact you said stadia is a subscription service. Which it's not. The stadia pro is the subscription. Reading UpTo your comment it looked like that clarification was needed. But then I saw it was addressed by someone else as well before me

That is true, stadia and stadia pro are the same service but one is paid and the other is free. When you get into what the paid version gives you... That's another story. But I'm looking forward to trying stadia on my t-mobile 5g connection later next year on a camping trip.

Why is this a fire deal? Google does add games to "Pro free" set from time to time. You need pro subscription to play them for free. You can't access those games without active subscription.
Are these two games anything different? It's only a fire deal if the games can be played even without subscription once claimed during active subscription.
