Also, new subscribers only but I found out that if you have an expired subscription, it will work for you. Might depend how long it has been though. Best Buy gave me 3 months of Apple Music after an iphone purchase and it worked. Though my subscription expired less than a month ago

Edit: I clicked on the Apple TV offer and activated it without issues. Even though I used the 1 year free subscription prior and cancelled before it actually charged me. Doesn't appear to be limited to new subscribers.
