Why down vote? I thought it is a decent price for a pair.
When was this deal at Costco? Can you send link?
Been looking at adjustable dumbbells for awhile. Have seens these multiple times for $299. This is the cheapest I've seen in months but it does say membership prices only. Samsclub also sells the ones linked below which do not say membership price only. So i'm assuming anyone can order them with $20 shipping and tax.
I think these are a much better design. I was having a hard time deciding between the Weilder and the Powerblock 50, that are on Woot for $250. Ending up ordering the Powerblock not exactly sure why, in my mind it seemed like there was less that could break with the powerblocks.

Just want to say I've been using these for about 4 years and they have been worth every penny I paid. Yeah, there are some quirks, but it lets me fit a full rack of dumbbells in the limited space I have for a gym.
Sometimes they get stuck a bit, and need a little more work than just "turning a knob" to get working right, but I've never found myself frustrated with these.
They hold up too. By by math I have used my pair upwards of 500 half-hour-or-so workouts. Yeah, there are knicks in the plastic and some of the luster is gone, but they operate like new.
FWIW I've had these for 11 years at this point and they still work like a champ. If they start to stick to the base or get hard to turn, turn the weight to the lowest setting so all the weights come out and hit the gears with some WD-40 and they're good as new.
They are bulky. It's not a problem for me because I have a wide frame but lifts that require turning the weight could be an issue for some people with small to normal shoulder width.
I ended up spending a hour researching a getting the other deal for Powerblock.. If you have Woot App and Prime its 10% off today(12/2). Both are solid sets.
The fact that these have been available at or near this price for a week now is indicative that this is just the price moving forward. I will be cancelling my Amazon order at $299 and not reordering for the time being.
I was eyeing on this until I saw the Woot deal for Powerblock with the $20 off in-app purchase. The smaller footprint of the Powerblock really was a winner for me. I hope it wouldn't take me a while to get used to the "not so traditional dumbbell shaped dumbbells" LOL.
I'm wondering if best buy can price match? hey it's $20 it can be for my gas lol!
Tried, they wouldn't budge since it's an online only deal. They price match warehouse clubs but only if it's available local only…. supposedly. Wouldn't hurt to try yourself if you have the time though.
just know if u do bicep curls more than 52.5 pounds like i do, these will be insufficient. also due to the bulkiness, the weights sometimes clang when doing things like chess presses.
Yeah, grab an arm blaster or preacher pad so you don't cheat and control your movements. If your still hammering out with 50's I am both impressed with your fitness and humored that you would think that any percentages the population is in a similar situation.

Yeah same here. At least the product itself is quality.
