Been looking at adjustable dumbbells for awhile. Have seens these multiple times for $299. This is the cheapest I've seen in months but it does say membership prices only. Samsclub also sells the ones linked below which do not say membership price only. So i'm assuming anyone can order them with $20 shipping and tax.

I think these are a much better design. I was having a hard time deciding between the Weilder and the Powerblock 50, that are on Woot for $250. Ending up ordering the Powerblock not exactly sure why, in my mind it seemed like there was less that could break with the powerblocks.

You do bicep curls > 50 lbs per arm, but use these for chest presses? What?

These are fantastic other than their obvious weight limitation, or the fact that they're still a little large when you're doing reps at 15 lbs. I find that they supplement an olympic weight set / squat rack very well, and add speed to workouts where < 50 lb weights are utilized.

Just don't drop 'em on the floor violently.

Its a dated design in my opinion. These were the originator in adjustable dumbbells. But companies have had a lot of time to figure out better designs. To have the full 17 inches length for a 10 pound weight is absurd.

The only thing I like about the Weider over the Powerblock is the regular metal knurled handle it has. I don't mind that the Powerblock only goes up in 5lb increments as opposed to 2.5 with the Weider.

Does look like I missed the 10% off that some people got yesterday, ordered too early. Slacking on my slick dealing.

Tomorrow 10% off Target gc goes live.. it's currently 349 at target, they will price match best buy or Walmart price of $299. Buy a $300 gc for $270 tomorrow and get these for $270 plus tax. To make it better, if you buy the gc using a discover card or Chase through paypal, that's an extra 5% cashback. Sounds like a little bit of work but you can end up getting it for $255 + tax and shipped from Target.
