It is a junk detector anyway. Bounty Hunter has some half decent detectors, but this isn't one of them.

I would suggest a Garret detector in the Ace line. They are great for starting out to see if you like the hobby.

My last detector buy was a Land Ranger Pro - got it when Amazon Warehouse does their 20% off thing. Some decent mid-range and starter detectors there sometimes.
