I bought a bigger hyper tough set in the past (for my sister) only to use it recently to assemble a basketball goal. It is absolutely not top quality! At the end of assembly there were numerous times then 3/8 ratchet stopped ratcheting. I don't know if I was pressing too hard to make sure it wouldn't slip off the bolt while tightening or if the reverse/forward switch was being toggled during work. Upon checking after a malfunction the switched seemed to be in the proper spot. Finished the job with a cheap 3/8 Stanley ratchet from the truck with hyper tough sockets. A small set like this may get you by if you are stuck on the road, but for me it would not be preferable.

Hyper Tough has better brand name recognition than Milwaukee.... Plus, it literally has "tough" in the brand name. Cannot go wrong here...

i swear by hyper tough. ok not really, but theyre good basic chinese junk, if any of that made any sense. not the best obviously but they'll get the job done in most cases for cheap as dirt.

Only get this for something quick/easy to grab, to use on bicycles, or tightening up chairs or tables, or maybe other very small jobs around the house.

Do not throw this in your vehicle for "emergency" purposes.

If you're trusting a $6 set to have anything near the sufficient/correct tools for an emergency, on a vehicle, then you should not be driving - and definitely not even attempting an emergency repair.

For vehicles, put together a set with sufficient sockets (3/8 and 1/2") up to the largest bolt head on your vehicle - open end wrenches, assortment of extensions, spark plug sockets, allen heads, torx heads, throw in vice grips, short and long handled screwdrivers, channel locks, pliers, etc...

Anything less and you're setting yourself up for a very disappointing day.

.
It's for emergencies, not rebuilding your engine on the side of the road.

Free shipping is simple. Buy instore pickup combined over 35. Never pick up and it gets cancelled. Somehow this week, I was screwed when they accidentally gave away my .36 jello box and I complained I never picked up. They refunded, of course.

Please stop. This does not compare to Milwaukee.

I was gonna comment on this but I just can't. Maybe this is good for teenagers. But nowadays teenagers are dangerous.

You would be lucky to get one use out of that ratchet. I have a similar set and they are not good. Best use is to take them straight to a recycling center after purchase.

Hmm, can't decide between this or the 191-piece Milwaukee set.
Go with this one, way cheaper.

You have to select store pickup; on the review order page there's a section for substitution item option IF the item isn't in stock. Then it depends on the Walmart shopper to pick a comparable item, but you will pay the same price. For me they substituted with this item: https://www.walmart.com/ip/868689664

Throwing this in the trunk of your car is just a false sense of security. There is no way you are going to be able to do roadside emergency repairs with this set.

Better to get a set that is like $50-$70 that has a nice overall assortment of tools; sockets, nicer ratchet, open end wrenches, pliers, needle nose pliers, screwdrivers, Allen keys, wire stripers, wire cutters, roll of electrical tape, crescent style wrench, channel lock style wrench, etc.

Think about the various "emergencies" you would have roadside: Broken serpentine belt, blown radiator hose, blown heater hose, dead battery, shorted/burnt wire, etc. I don't know of any example of a roadside emergency I've had over many years of driving that I could have fixed with this dinky set. Get something with a more diverse assortment of tools.

In for one. Thanks. I needed a crap set for the garage and this will do.
Where is your good set, if not the garage?

I have good sets (made in USA) in the garage and basement but they're a pain to dig it out of my tool boxes for small simple jobs which is where this cheap set will come in handy.
