Got the 925 trimmer for $50 last year and agree the manual feed is horrendous. String never fed right. Trimmer was unusable. Had to spend $35 more on a husquvarna replacement head. Now it's a decent trimmer

It's an older model trimmer and older blower. The newer blower isn't necessarily much better. I believe people really didn't like this trimmer due to the manual feeding of the line.

It's an older model trimmer and older blower. The newer blower isn't necessarily much better. I believe people really didn't like this trimmer due to the manual feeding of the line.

Meh - I got a better deal from ACE last summer - 5AH Battery - - more powerful blower - and probably a better String Trimmer - for the same price.

This is the old model. I used the blower regularly and it died on me at about 3 years and 14 days. I know this because it was right outside the 3 year warranty. LoL

The string trimmer is still working, albeit a pain to manage the string. They say manual feed but I still hit against the ground to feed string. Still works but is a huge PIA to reload string in the can.

I replaced the head on mine and my Son's Dewalt trimmer and they now work flawlesly. I seldom bother bringing out my heavy & loud Stihl trimmer anymore.

No it is not.

Get these for cheaper [homedepot.com]

Order using store "Atlantic And Girvin #6365" and price is $149. Other stores around me are $300.

I had this package but ended up returning it. Blower was fine but wasn't that big of a fan of the trimmer. Everything worked as intended but just didn't feel like the value was there for the price tag (I think I paid $225).

I ended up going with some ryobi stuff which I feel is just as good for my needs. But if you are already in the dewalt ecosystem, I get it

This is bad deal; its old brushed model that they replaced from the kit from xr 13" and the blower is gen 1

Don't even get much runtime from 4ah battery
