If you need the needle nose pliers see the links above. However OP's deal seems solid. I wouldn't get Hyper Tough's power tools, but a basic tool like this (with great reviews) is hard to pass on
If you bought them recently, I'm sure they're still under warranty.

Simply tell them you expected much higher quality for $2 pliers, and they'll likely make it right.
Next time ask to speak with the supervisor if you don't mind waiting. I had the same issue a few days ago with the jumper cables. Online was 19.99, in-store was 24.99. I girl there didn't want to make the price correction. When I asked to speak with the manager, the girl went ahead and made the price adjustment. I told the girl that if everyone buy online, she would be out of the job.

It's always nice to have extra locking pliers to beat upon (and possibly spare your better locking pliers). At only $2 a piece, it's definitely a great deal. If you're only going to buy one set of locking pliers, though, you might consider at least something from Home Depot or Lowe's on the less expensive side (that also includes long nose locking pliers and an easy to use lifetime warranty).

I grabbed kobalt pliers yesterday from Lowes. I have a sink to be replaced. Not sure if I need to opekobold. For that job but have to figure out next week.
I saw and thought about picking Irwin grip but with lifetime warranty and 3 vs 2, I took the kobalt. If kobalt is good or equal to Irwin I should be good? I like to build a functional and quality set of tools, don't need top of lines but should work when needed. Not brand specific.

I was going to buy these in store.at the register they rang up the normal price.i asked the lady about matching the price and she said i had to buy online.i just left them there.
Even for the price these are terrible. The teeth wear out after a couple uses. They couldn't even grip to my brake bleeder screw after using them once to hold on to a pipe as i was unbolting a corroded nut.
