I wear a pair of the Asheville waterproofs as my everyday shoe and they are even more comfortable than any of my tennis shoes.

I got the Asheville waterproof, half a size up and it's pretty comfortable. I paid around $43 when it was posted a few days ago? Does Lowes refund the price difference?

Edit: I called to get the price difference, they said they don't do that but I'm welcome to return my old order and rebuy

Steel toe boots and shoes are not made for walking around as casual footwear. They are designed more for protection in work environments rather than comfort. The non-waterproof variety is made for use in dry work environments, like inside a warehouse, not rainy or snowy streets.

Ashville look similar to rebranded caterpillar.

I bought these on the SD Costco last year. They look closest to the Asheville all sizes were wide this is listed as medium. I always wear wide or 4E 12.5 if they have it ,rarely so 13 with most shoe makers. I did have issues on one of my boots the leather was overlayed at a transition from foot to leg and was giving me a blister. I took a 2" pipe put into my boot and hammered the area out from the outside worked perfectly. Like all shoe or boots I buy I toss the insoles for Birkenstock 3/4 heel arch support or New Balance 3810 which has been rebranded now as 10 Seconds 3810. I didn't like either of the top two cheap Amazon brands one of which bribes you for review and I haven't tried Superfeet since they are the same price as my 10 Seconds 3810

For those who bought on the previous sale, Lowe's told me they won't price adjust and told me to just rebuy. They also said since I used a gift card to buy I had to go to the store to return it and get store credit…

Typically lowes calls this refund, re-bill. It's technically a refund but they refund you the purchase price from your previous purchase and re-bill at the new price. It works but not as easy as just a refund and usually requires a stop at a store. I tried once on the phone and it took a long time.
