I noticed lately that less and less of these threads bother to state "Tool only" in the title or even the body of the OP.
I understand that the picture shows it without the battery, that is not my point. When you buy a cordless tool, it is normal to expect the battery and charger. That is my point.
My deal alerts don't always have pics, and even worse, the mods seem to have stopped adding it in on their FP post update when it is missing in the OP.
I put the info in the wiki for anyone else who might not notice in the picture it is missing the battery and charger and have to waste time clicking through to determine it. I don't think "bare tool only" should be the normal expectation for battery-operated tools now, just because it happens frequently.
Next, for the times these are included, they will be stating how getting a battery and charger is some kind of bonus.

It's all about you. I wasted my time reading yours in case there was a real point, but alas there isn't. I mean for $40 and the picture a reasonable person getting information for free could infer there isn't a battery included. At least in Ryobi you can see they are starting to unbundle in their brushless big time. Is this a trend, idk. I did score a three bare tool Ryobi for a great price and I was happy because these guys sell HP tools without hp batteries in the bundles.

p.s. This may come as a shock to you, but the guy who has so few tools that he needs a battery and charger to come with each one is not who TI is targeting with a product line that includes 225+ tools.

I suppose it is becoming more the norm, but it does matter, from both sides of the situation. Those with plenty don't want the accessories driving up the cost. Those new or newer to the line need or prefer to have the accessories, so both sides should know. Some would prefer to have spares. You won't please everyone, but you should disclose the detail. That is my point.
Also, batteries wear out and even those with some may need more for established lines they own.
