The other factor is that this has a cover. That's a big practical benefit. No need to worry about dust or keeping it clean. For those things alone, even it takes a bit more time to assemble, who cares?
Honestly, 15mm vs 18mm doesn't really matter for casual home users. Unless you are playing tournaments, for most people who are just gonna play with family and friends it won't matter. It might matter for some people, in which case the ESPN is a better buy.
I had ordered the Joola 15mm for $251 this morning but on seeing this deal I cancelled that and ordered this instead. This is $60 less than the Joola, is 18mm instead of 15mm and comes with a cover which the Joola does not.

Did the exact same. Thanks OP
Even if it takes half an hour more, it's a one time thing for the life of the table. The fact that this is $60 cheaper for a similar (or even ostensibly better) playing experience is the biggest determining factor.

Thank you for the insight.
