Getting chilly around here. We had flurries for a while for a few days in a row. No accumulation thank goodness.

Earlier this evening, I was looking for something at CVS and there were only a few stores nearby that had it. Two were about 15 miles away down dark, winding country roads. The third is essentially in the middle of the large University campus here in town. I've never been to the new location since they moved a couple blocks down the road.
Part of making my deal work, because I had a $/$$ coupon, was to get the 2 tubes of Colgate that are on sale for $7.98 with a digital coupon for $7.98. So I walk in the store, look around and see the things I'm looking for, but don't see the toothpaste. Lots of other things, but no toothpaste. At this point, I'm thinking why would CVS have a store right in the middle of a college campus that doesn't carry toothpaste? But I'm also trying to stay under the radar, because I'm hoping to do a couple of transactions at self check out.
I've about given up when I look around, see an elevator with a sign that has a small list of what's on the first floor and what's on the second floor. Well duh, I totally forgot this store was two story. And yes, the toothpaste was on the second floor. And even better, all my transactions except my very last one went smooth as glass. And even better than all that, the guy who helped me with my issue was super nice and helpful, non judgmental and just seemed happy to help me.

I just read for a long time, too! Scared to ask questions, as I said, it was a tough crowd!
I'm always appreciative of those who share. Eventhough different areas' stores may not carry everything the same, just knowing someone is having success is uplifting.
I used to work a lot on SD. Publix thread, Kroger matchups, printables (before it was automated). I miss several of my printable co-volunteers.
