Solid deal these are very close to Peets imo and one of the top 3 or 4 third party pods you can get. 1) original nespreso 2) peets 3) Starbucks 4) l'or 5) bustelo

L'Or is good. It's definitely up there with Lavazza and Peets. And unlike Lavazza, L'Or uses aluminum capsules. Machine at the house likes alu caps better, machine at the office doesn't care if it's plastic or alu caps.

Gag me with a pitchfork on the Starbucks. Tastes like tar. Bustelo is not a fav, but to each their own. And not willing to pay for the overpriced Nespresso capsules.

Agreed. L'or uses aluminum capsules and it keeps the espresso fresh even after the sell by date.

I like Lavazza as #2

I like Lavazza in general, but their Nespresso pods suck. They're plastic and half filled with coffee, producing diluted espresso.

It's a shame because they make great Lavazza branded commercial grade espresso machines and proprietary capsules. Used to be my go to at the office during the pre-pandemic days.

I'd prioritize Nespresso pod quality similarly. Nice list.

Does Nespresso accept these for recycling like their own?

I bought the L'Or to try them. I've found the Espresso Italia are decent for 22 cents each if you buy 300 (can be 3 different varieties). They are aluminum pods. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099SKJC7R/

Hi, which ones from Espresso Italia would you recommend? 100 is a lot to sample thru

No, Nespresso only accepts their capsules.

Peet's however, will take anyone's capsules.

Well, I have a plastic bag for recycling from them and will put all my aluminum pods in there, doubt they will stop me from depositing it sealed…

Solid deal if expiration is 3 months or more out. While not quite as good as Peets or Nespresso brand, have bought these in the past and have been very pleased
They are Peet's.

Literally the same production company.

Bought 3 boxes earlier today via S&S and when in cart, selected "get it sooner with 5% savings" and they just arrived. They expire 2/22/2022 if that matters to you.

Well, not so much that they are Peet's, more like a larger conglomerate makes both of them.

Well of course they won't "stop" you (how could they), but according to Nespresso site (and response to online inquiry), they will be rejected and not recycled. The various capsules use different grade aluminum and various material for the liner and foil cap.
