Rockband hasn't made new instruments in over four years because madcatz went out of business. All instruments on marketplace are for older versions of the game and not compatible. $300+ to even begin to play this game if you're lucky.

I remember when Guitar Hero came out and everyone said it was going to be the end of concerts. Lol. I used to actually see MySpace (yep, MySpace) posts saying that. Then one day, Guitar Hero and Rock Band just died, seemingly over night. I've definitely had some fun. I always preferred Guitar Hero. It was just more solid gameplay. Rock Band always looked and felt a little cheap. Still fun enough, though.

only the RB4 compatible sets are going for top dollar the RB1/2/3 aren't unless you also have the adapter to make them RB4 compatible

Xbox One and Series X use the same wireless controller tech. you can for example use an Xbox One controller for Series X and vice versa

You need a RB4 Guitar or Drumset. These were released in 2015 (?) for the XB1.

OR

You need a RB 2/3 wireless Guitar or Drumset for the X360. You also need the PDP Legacy Wireless adapter ($$).

OR

You need an E-Drum kit. You also need the PDP Legacy WIRED adapter ($$$$) and the Xbox 360 MIDI kit ($$$).

RB1 wired guitars/drums are not supported at all.

No one tell him about the MIDI Adapter which allows you to use a professional drum set instead of the breakable plastic drums. XD

I mean... if you are trying to play PS2 wired controllers on the PS5, then yes, you are correct. But my PS3/PS4 instruments work great with no problems on the PS5.

I still have my drums, a keyboard that is still new in the box and a few guitars - I think I even have the mics too. This was so fun to play back in the day. I downloaded the DLC (thanks)... I will check my disks to see if I have Rock Band 4
