New Verizon Fios - 12mo Amazon Prime on top of ongoing discounts (YMMV) $84.98

On top of the ongoing discounts that include
  • $200 Verizon Gift Card
  • Disney+ for 12 months on us. (then $7.99/mo after)
  • AMC+ for 12 months on us. (then $8.99/mo after)
  • $5 24 Mo. Discount thru Dec 13, 2023
  • $10 Auto-Pay and Paper Free Discount
I spoke with an agent on chat who also was able to add Amazon Prime 12 month membership. The membership code is provided once your FIOS service is activated and can be redeemed as a source of payment in your Amazon Prime membership settings. Renewing the membership via the code will also save you the tax (around $13.99 or may vary depending on your state)

Same qualifications as the regular offer apply.
  • Go to Verizon Fios page and click order now
  • Go through the check availability and order selection but don't submit the order
  • Wait for the chat pop up to appear that says "Don't forget, you may be eligible for an exclusive offer! Chat now for details"
  • Chat with an agent and ask about what other exclusive offers are available. They may offer Amazon Prime or something else.
  • If not, hang up and try with a different agent.
  • YMMV, good luck!

Is this applicable for the $39.99 internet plan?

My two year contract is up and I've found in the past that they don't really offer any promos to existing customers. Can another member of my household sign up and take advantage of the new customer promos while I cancel?

It's been a couple years, but my wife and I regularly switch account ownership to take advantage of Fios new customer offers and have had zero issues.

What is the easiest way to switch? Do you actually disconnect and reconnect with new accounts? Or do they just transfer the existing account to the other person?

You have to put in a cancellation for some future date, and IIRC you set up new service under the new name for the same date. Has to be a "new" account tho, can't just update the name on the current account

Been renewing the "new customer" offer for years. Same name, same phone number, new email. Never any issues.

When switching acct to "new customer" do you have to go through the trouble of them coming to the house to "install"? Or do they just transfer it over digitally?

Do you need to pay for the installation every time you switch?

Got this similar deal earlier in the year for the gigabit internet. Ended up cancelling as optimum cut my bill basically in half for the year when i went to cancel with them. Speeds definitely better on Fios but not worth the price difference, will likely go back to them once my year ends.

FYI when i cancelled my Discovery plus account terminated but the one year of prime and Disney plus did not, I suppose thats YMMV but that was my experience.

Are you out of internet for few days? Should we cancel first before we reorder on wife's name again?
