I didn't even know Gateway still existed. Love the SSD this thing has. I might have to bite. My ACER is getting ready to kill over any day now.

I did some research and found that ACER owns them, but doesn't make them. They're made for WalMart only by some unknown company. I'd rather have an ACER I think. CNET had a good review on this.

I totally agree I've had both gateway great specs but USB ports not very stable in my humble opinion consider and I've used it wouldn't stay connected data drops bought the Acer from Walmart no problems but only eight gig

At a certain point build quality matters more than specs. You can have the fastest computer around but if it's falling apart, it won't do you much good. This has great specs but idk about the build quality
