I really wanted to like this laptop with the specs and this price point. But I bought one and had to return it. It's kinda slow for no reason and cheaply made which I am not complaining about becz price was unbeatable. But the laptop died after 10 days. Luckily I was able to return

One great reason to buy this one over the refurb is to get an extended credit card warranty. E.g. +2 years with Citi. If you do want a reliable computer where you would probably never cash in on the warranty, it might be better to keep looking.

Lol, took a whole year of typing class (IBM typewriters). . .but still prefer having backlit key.
I'm fine without if seated at a desk or table, but sometimes on the couch I'm not in a good position to get hands situated easily, or I only need to punch a few keys while the lappy is sideways on the seat next to me etc. etc.

Yeah these specs seem unreal for the price. . .too bad no wifi 6
