May have even been longer than that. I first saw the G1 Optimus reissue in a Toys R Us because it had been decades since I had seen it and I just stood there in the aisle holding it in my hands while the nostalgia washed over me. I think it was like $60-$70 at the time and I had a long conversation with myself about how much I wanted it but shouldn't spend that much on it. Growing up and being responsible sucks.

I just picked it up. I picked up Soundwave G1 reissue a couple of years ago at Walmart.com also for $50. Now that thing is worth over $100.

Lots of people complaining about Prime without a trailer which I understand but for reference I paid $60 in '02 (I think) for one with a trailer but the smoke stacks were cut off. Same with the Hasbro Masterpiece Prime released later unfortunately. If you want one with the trailer and smoke stacks you can either wait for a possible 40th anniversary one or buy this and go hunting for a leftover trailer on eBay which is still probably cheaper than buying an import. I went ahead and bought this one because not having smoke stacks is like having a neutered Prime. Super annoying but that's the way Hasbro is playing it: "safety first" I guess

Blaster was out of stock Black Friday when I went to buy it but, just bought it for the $4 more they want for it now. Good enough deal. Don't want to not end up with one. Also picked up Hardhead for $20. Saw they had the Ark for $130 but checked Amazon and it was $130 there so I bought it with my 5% back card.
