My recommendation is to keep the mavic mini since its your first drone.

You won't need a lot of the upgraded features if you are just a casual user. Wait until the release of Mavic 2 successor and you can buy the refurb version for the same price you would be able to sell the mavic mini.

I bought the mavic mini deal same as you and sold my dji spark fly more for $250 on fb marketplace. Came out with a newer drone with 2 year warranty and a $20 profit.

DUDE! You are awesome!!!! Been regretting not pulling the trigger at $419.00, and procrastination finally paid off. Repped!

Edit: Extra 5% Cashback for Chase Freedom members when paying via Paypal, too (make sure to activate the rewards in your Chase account first).

Forgot to mention: I believe the 15% code maxes out at $100 discount if you try it on a more expensive refurbished drone.

Edit: Looks like they killed the 15% off promo code

OP sure is awesome. I didn't procrastinate but waited for this deal. $420 was available way before BLACKFRIDAY so I waited and disappointed it didn't go cheaper. Didn't needed so I waited further. Finally, thanks OP.

I got the OG Mini fly-more during black friday from their ebay refurb for $220. Is this one worth the extra ~$150?

Yes. The Mini 2 has much better flight range, and the controller is amazing.

With taxes, it comes out to be about $420 for me with free shipping. Great deal indeed.

I am guessing, at least in the US, not a whole lot of drone flying happens during the harsh winter months so I won't be surprised if this drops even more by January.
