FYI: These are no longer made in JAPAN. Amazon did the switch over a year ago.

Still decent price for 8 batteries.

had amazon recharagbles and they are the only brand in my stash that i have thrown away.. i still have old skool eneloops, that still charge just fine

Figured I'd throw this out there because inevitably battery wars will get started here. We bought 30 of these for motion stair lights about 18ish months ago. They get recharged at least once a month or so, which isn't a ton but decently regularly. We haven't had any go bad. I really stressed at the time because people really crap on these since they're not Japan batteries anymore but they've been great for us. Bought a bunch of AA's after and they don't get used nearly as much but haven't had any of those go bad either. Helped keep us from adding a lot of batteries to the landfill.
