So, I have been looking at the Yeti as they are known to be top of the line with top of the line price point.
Can anyone share some experience with this brand and possibly compare with the yeti? I am open for sacrificing performance (up to a point) to save a significant cost. The yeti roadie 24 is $200.
Thanks in advance, you cooler experts 😬
Also, is a4c a legit site? Just asking.

Still, I'd recommend doing your own research. There are tons of YouTube channels with ice tests, leak tests, abuse tests, commentary on the latches and hinges, and so on. As far as warranty info goes, I know I found a site one time that did a good job summarizing, but sadly I don't recall which site. Searching will likely find you what I was reading though.

The latch is also the weak link. Reviews say it is prone to breaking. Even though the cooler has a lifetime warranty, that's a pain. I can attest to the latch being fairly thin. You really need to make sure you line things up correctly before you shut it. If you do that, you should be good to go.
The cooler is semi rigid. That and the odd shape make it a bit tough to get the most out of the capacity.
Overall I really like it, especially at this price point.
Pros
- lifetime warranty
- no zipper
- holds ice really well
- convenient shoulder strap
Cons
- potentially weak latch
- odd shape
- no handle on top

Yeti is pretty good I have their roadie and one of their hard coolers as well they hold ice well and feel well built. I didn't buy either one of them (pricey lol) I got one from a work event and the other one from a raffle.
I also have two otterbox coolers a hard one ( from best buy deal iirc ) and the trooper one like the one in this deal ( actually from previous deal on same site ). I really like them both the hard one holds ice longer than the yeti hard one does, and this soft one with the latch is a lot easier to get in and out of.
As others have said the latch is the weak point, mine broke ( because it got caught on something when it was open ) and they sent me an entirely new cooler after I sent them images, they didn't ask for the old one back so I have been using the old one without a latch ( still stays cold, but isn't water tight if it tips over ) more so than any other cooler I have.
Hope this helps...
