What is so great about this, is the clamping voltage.
It's the most important spec that tells you how well your expensive equipment will be protected. Your multi thousand dollar OLED TV or your expensive receiver, etc.
Many surge protectors do not even list this spec, or they list it in hard to find places in tiny letters. The lower the clamping voltage - the better. Anything lower than 400V is great.
There are a lot of arguments against this model being truly 150V, but that doesn't matter because the bigger picture is that it is at least 300V, which is pretty low, in fact, 300V is great!
It is definitely not just a 'power strip', which by definition does not provide any protection.
Joules rating is not as important as clamping voltage, but at over 2K Jules, that is also great.

The clamping voltage is 150V but it's a sine wave that alternates from positive to negative voltage. So, the peak voltage is 150V or -150V. Add them together and you get 300V.
