The same XB33 from Secondipity is listed at 59.99 on Amazon as "Used - Like New". Ordered one from there. It said there were 9 remaining at that time.

This is the same company that often sells refurbished Sony headphones for a good price on eBay. I've purchased Sony headphones and speakers from them before, and they have always been indistinguishable from brand new items, except for the packaging.

I got the XB43 on sale for this price a few months ago. I love the thing. I compared it to a lot of JBL's offerings and the XB43 blew them all out of the water. Only downside is the lack of real portabilty compared to JBL. But thats not an issue for me.

The XG500 sounds awful to me tho. Muddy bass and horrible quality. I dont think its worth even this price. I bought one and returned it after 1 day.

XB23 is a sturdy and great sounding speaker once broken in. It fits water bottle cages so you can take it biking. I think I paid $90 for a new one a year ago and am very happy.

I use the XB41 almost every day at work. I was excited when the XB43 series came out and picked one up. I was really sad to find out that Sony changed the "party mode" signal and the XB_1 series do not link to the XB_3 series. The kicker is that my XB41 sounded better than the XB43; which I then returned.

I would pass on this deal.

I bought an XB33 the last time a deal like this was posted. Looks and functions like brand new. Sounds great. Not sure you can beat it for $70. The Sony app that lets you control EQ and light settings works well too. I'd recommend it.
