Thanks OP. Can anyone provide feedback on the value/stamina of this toy and their kids? My biggest issue lately are toys that I would assume hold attention over time, but it seems my kids play for a few mins and get bored. Then I find pieces under the couch months later.

Like others said, kids will play and then move onto something else. But after a while they'll come back to it. I find that hot wheels tracks and the like aren't worth it. If a kid likes cars, they're going to use everything as a track - driving the cars on tables, chairs, sofa, etc. So buy the cars instead of tracks.

I can't speak for this but it looks like fun; depending on the age of your kids they'll probably get a kick out of the mud slime. And obviously this set would be more fun if there are two kids playing alongside but there's only so much fun to be had launching cars. At least it looks easy to assemble so you can put it away and set it up pretty quickly.

That's most if not all kids. That's why I take those "my kids played with it for hours" reviews with a grain of salt. I'm more interested in finding out if it will break or not.

I realize that kids will be kids with varying degrees of interest. It's a crapshoot. I've had varying degrees of success, however, when getting overwhelming reports of "my kids played with this over the course of months" VS. "5 mins and they were done."

My two girls love the trucks, especially during bath time. They don't give a flying f#@k about the tracks or playsets. I have a Blaze jungle one that sits, unused, next to the equally ignored paw patrol lookout tower

I don't even care. I'm just happy to be able to buy them useless nonsense. They probably won't appreciate it for 20 years but that's life! :-)

Love all the parenting comments here. Lol. Gotta love kids with their short attention span. Toys are super cool when they first open it, days later they forget they even have it. I find my kids sometime enjoy cheaper toys from the dollar store more than expensive popular toys. They don't really value those toys until they're older.

Kids are cool. So young and care free.

Yes my son played with just the trucks for about a year! They went EVERYWHERE with us. He absolutley adored them from the age of 2 til about 4.5-5. The sets... they got pulled out every once in a while. We had fun collecting all the different character trucks. Totally worth it!

If anyone looking for recommendation, from personal experience with a similar track toy, the "multiple configurations" option is not a good feature at least for younger kids. It results in (1) higher likelihood of falling apart more easily (2) not giving a satisfying car action (i.e. riding the ramp etc) (3) kid loses interest more quickly (4) can't play with it on their own because they mess with the parts and they come apart (4) multiple parts end up in a pile

Go for something that is solid and stays together with a cool "car action" that is fun for *repetition*.

Same thing for everyone. Sometimes the toys I think might entertain for a hour or so ends up being one of his favorites. My best purchase was an indoor slide i got from fisher price and a small trampoline. My boy got a good three years of playing on them at least 15-30 min out of the day if not more.

My kid got this last year as a gift (early 3yr old at the time) enjoyed the track for a short time, but broke the springs in the launchers really fast. Broke them by slamming the handle to launch as directed. He stopped using the track after that and we just got rid of the track last week, since it was just sitting in a corner for half a year. He loves the trucks though, playing with one right now actually.
