Wanting to grab a pair for value priced dual monitor, but lots of reviews mention missing power cords....

This is actually a pretty bad monitor, had one and returned it. The ppi is way too low.

From personal experience, 1080p is terrible for 27". Looks a bit stretched and pixelated.

YMMV but at my local Walmart they are selling it for $150 (in-store only) because they have so many left over from Black Friday.

I bet. I think 24" is the max size for 1080p

I bought this on Black Friday for $188. They refunded the $14 difference.

I like the monitor. 27" probably is too big for 1080p, but it doesn't bother me anymore. I got a VESA mount and was able to move my monitor a few inches back and now I don't notice the pixelating.

Friends don't let friends buy 27" monitors in 1080p. Either go with 24" for 1080p or get a PC that can handle 27" in 1440p. Anything outside of those two options are subpar.

6 or 8 months ago I bought the MSI Optix G271. As far as I can tell this has the exact same specs. I've been really happy with it. Yes the res is low for 27" but at normal viewing distances it isn't an issue and I would much rather have a larger high refresh monitor than something smaller with higher res. I have to squint and get like a foot and a half away from the screen to see the pixels. Hooked it up to a 1660 ti through displayport so I can utilize freesync and it works great.

27" 1080 is perfect for an adult size desk (30"+ deep) . putting a 24" monitor at the back of an adult desk is too small even at 1080.

people saying it's too big are usually kids with ikea tables sitting 2 feet or less from their monitor. in that situation, yes, 24" is better.
