$50 cheaper than previous front page deals. Also open box available from $1124.99. Qhd 120mhz panel. 8gb soldered.. the other 8gb replaceable up to 32gb making 40gb total ram. No extra drive slots though. Great deal, incredible processor.

You just made those number, didn't you? Let me tell you a truth, if you're doing gaming or any demanding works in your laptop unplugged, it is always going to be less than 2 hours, with 1440p or 1080p. But feel free to share some reviews backing up your claim of battery life or playing 1080p at a 1440p screen looking very bad.

In my opinion, you should get this one and return the 1080p model. This display is far superior in terms of color reproduction and color gamut coverage and also for gaming due top faster response time compared to the 1080p screen. In future, if you plan to use it for some Photo/Video editing work, that display will be even a bigger plus.

Yes, it can charge via usb-c. I am using a MacBook Pro 15 charger at the moment. I just bought the FHD from Best Buy two days ago. Going to keep it and skip this as I don't think the color reproduction and increase in resolution are worth the decrease in frame rate and battery life.
