I like the remote. Took some getting used to. It's the most stable of the streamers that I've used. It's also the most locked down.

If all I want to do is cast my screen (apps or streaming videos from a browser) from my iPhone, iPad Pro, or MacBook Air, is this sufficient?

The older remote, that comes with this, is horribly sensitive to a misplaced finger. As I see it, waiting for a good price on the latest version is well worthwhile.

I got this on the last deal from Walmart. Works great, but that remote....takes a lot of getting used to the trackpad, FF & RW are such a chore!
