The lights on the exhaust is where you plug in the USB C. THat being said, the Falcon will most likely be flying towards you - this means you miss out on the cool exhaust which will always be in the back. You have to look in the back of the Falcon to see it light up which is one way that tells you that you put the phone correctly on the charger. That being said, I am always moving around the charger to see if it is charging. Im used to it now....My only real complaint...
