Best use for these is for Disney World for those NOT used to Florida's stinky water. I can vouch these get rid of the sulffur smell and taste.
damn need $45 to get free shipping
I use these when I travel and can't be bothered to buy packs of water. Hotel tap water doesn't taste that bad through this!

Don't let your children drink unfiltered water...and plastic bottled water might be worse! Look at the explosion in "gender confusion" going on. It all seemed to start about the time everyone was convinced by the bottled water industry that tap water is unsafe.

I'd really recommend getting the insulated one, the normal 26oz one is terrible at keeping water cold. Additionally, these models do tend to grow mold in the lid/straw and will require cleaning monthly if you use daily.

Like an earlier comment posted, these are really good if you don't want to drink tap water out and about. But, if you have a filtered fridge/brita at home/work to refill a Hydroflask instead, I'd recommend that instead.

BBB will not PM as first thing they will ask if the item is on sale. A couple weeks back I tried on another item with them but they said, they do not pm if item is discounted

We have lead in our water and does anyone know if the filter works against lead? As I have recently found out that most regular filters do not have lead purification capability unless it specifically mentions it.

That's a good thought! Considering plastic takes hundreds of years to degrade naturally, I hope everyone thinks that!

Install a reverse osmosis system at your house. Zero need for single use water bottles if you use reusable containers after that!

I prefer the Pür brand big ass containers, we have 2 in the fridge and they've been superb. Never a leak, we found the water tastes better with the Pür over the Brita. We've used them for 4 yrs now and definitely recommend those; and the Brita as well but for taste we just prefer the Pür.

Also we don't change the filters exactly when it suggests we usually wait 2 more months as I researched and found several articles about the amount of filtration to be the same 2 months after the "Change Date".

These are pretty neat, though it seems silly to do this versus just dispensing filtered water from the fridge, sink, etc into a regular insulated bottle. I guess I also prefer drinking cold water and can't think of a scenario where I'd have access to ice but not to water. I'm not sure what applications really make sense to use this bottle outside of camping and/or not having access to clean water, but I'd probably use a life straw for scenarios like that.

Good deal, though, if you can find a use for this. I tried to justify it in my head to buy some as Christmas gifts, but just don't really see much value in these. Especially if you have to keep replacing filters. Much easier to just rotate the fridge filter or keep a brita in the fridge IMO.

I carry one when I travel oversea.

That's my problem with them. And try as I might, the mouthpiece still has black specks on it that sorry me. Has anyone found a good way to clean that?

This is EXACTLY why I've just purchased 7 of them (two families headed there next spring). Thankfully I knew this bit of info from some Disney YouTube channels I've recently started watching for tips, but you've confirmed it.
