No, you have to pay for the Consumer Reports online app in order to see the reviews. CR ranked Made-In as the best SS frying pan you can buy. The individual AC D5 pan does not appear in the individual pan test, but there's a small 7 pc set, including frying pan (and lids) were tested in a separate set test.

An AC D5 SS set was tested against a Made-In SS set. The Made-In set scored a 73 while All Clad D5 set scored a rather unimpressive 60. The D5 scored below Martha Srewart Tri Ply (@ 63), if you can believe.

Was this Breville included in that report and if so how did it stack up?

What are the scoring criteria? Removing cost aside which blows on performance? Can you share the report here? Pdf it and upload

Edit: was scouring internet about this vs all clad. Seems to be decent value but apparently they do have summer sale 20% off, it appears so. But most folks shut the question of all clad vs made in, citing allClad as gold standard and recommending factory seconds. Some comments says build quality of made in slightly lower and they do so much marketing and mark-up on some other lines they sell but SS is fine. Some people like the handles in the made in over allClad. Since these are 5 ply keep in mind they take longer (bit longer) to heat up.

Excuse stupid punctuation by voice assistant.

Nope, Breville was not reviewed. The Breville is made by Meyer, actually.

In trying to avoid China cookware I went with Demeyere Atlantis I found on a very good deal.
All clad Copper, D3, and D5 skillets and saucier are made in USA with local material and manufactured in house, but the handles and lids are not.

Made-in claims to be DTC, but they're still just a middle man. I believe Heritage Steel in Tennessee made SS cookware for Made-in, but even Heritage Steel doesn't source all material in the USA. Made-In is just a bulk buyer, they do not have their own factory's or manufacturing facility.

I went with Demeyere because from my understanding they source everything locally, not a US manufacture, but not a China sourced company. Also the handles are welded and not rivets.

Yes, Made-In is a middle man, but most of their cookware gets very high marks from CR. I believe you are correct on Heritage Steel in TN being the actual manufacturer. The pan in the OP is the highest rated SS pan you can buy. Also, I have an AC Copper Core 10" SS pan, and I can tell you that AC states the handles are made in the USA. I did see on other threads that this has become some type of folklore that AC handles are made in China... but I contacted AC, directly, and they state EVERYTHING is Made in USA... including the stainless steel they source as well as the handles.

Demeyere is definitely high quality, but they are made in Belgium, as I recall, and the Made-In is still all made in USA. You have freedom to buy from wherever you want of course, but if you can get CR's best rated SS pan by Made-In for only $76.50 shipped (and about $90 for the 12")... and it's totally made in USA, why not buy the Made-In?
