Spoken like someone who has never taken a young child on an hour-plus trip to grandma's house and they're stuck in a car seat. Sometimes kids need something to engage them when you physically cannot, and not for nefarious reasons like you implying someone is a bad parent simply for buying a toy. Toys with some sort of response or feedback allow for extended engagement and encourage fine motor skill development as they manipulate it. Plus children like to emulate their parents and if mom or dad have smart watches then the kids enjoy mimicking that play. Get over yourself, why are you commenting on a sale for a toy you clearly don't intend to purchase?

You think this will keep a child occupied for 1-hour? You'd be lucky to get 5 minutes out of it before they use it like a chew toy. After a week, it'll get tossed in a landfill. When that child grows up, they'll ask their parents why they destroyed the environment to keep them entertained. What a great lesson for them to mimic, eh? LMAO
Really, you're creating carbon emissions to share these thoughts? Please stop.

Get em hooked early on electronics eh? Seems like a weird thing to do to your child especially when you could go outside and play with them instead. You know actually bond with your children rather than distracting them.
Huh? I was buying this for me. I need a smart watch but it looks too big to wear comfortably on my wrist.

Maybe his response should've been, "No shit, Sherlock". Is that better?

As I parent, I do both. It's also kind of weird people are scoffing at a toy that's not even a screen. You can't ALWAYS be there for your child, they need their own distractions (otherwise nothing else in your life gets done). I have learned a lot from people who judge parents without knowing them (I was also kind of one of those), until you have your own children that is…PS: Kids learn from everything (even this simple toy), especially when this young they soak up everything their senses shoot at them, which is not necessarily bad if it's positive obviously (which this toy is a positive)…
