I like Kasa stuffs and have a dozen or so devices from them. But I got the Feit color smart bulbs from Costco a couple years ago at half that cost and they have been working well. A 4pk is $20 shipped now.
Better than the kl125 in brightness, which matters because that was dim. In theory these rgb bulbs have better cri, but in reality my glass Philips PAR20[amazon.com] led's have a far more pleasing warm color, higher useful and perceived light output to boot, the lumens rating is dubious based on my experience.
I also get the feeling kasa bulbs flicker, its hard to prove but it feels like eye strain.
If you were wondering if the new shape is for a sensor or something, its just different shaped plastic on the housing, not translucent down there..
The 135's were on sale for a pair for $20 last week so they can do better.
