I lose trust in Amazon more and more by the day. I've never gotten anything from Warehouse…curious to hear others experience with it RECENTLY.
I only order "Like New" items. Been shitty experience lately.
Ordered DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter, 2 of them. Both were not working.
Ordered a PC Case, (Jonsbo D41) and it was supposed to have an 8" screen, that was missing.
Ordered a motherboard, it was missing CPU pins.
Looks like a good deal on the bulb, but gonna have to pass.

i bought these last week. i bought 5 and they were all brand new.
i should also point out that i bought 2 motherboards from amazon warehouse, and they were both completely destroyed. bent pins, dented corners, weird stains. etc. the warehouse employee who repacked this for resale was straight up brain dead.

I get stuff from them once or twice every few months, spanning like 10 years? Maybe more or less, but a long damn time. Never once did I get something different than what I've ordered. There was a time where this one thing was broken and I wrote on it "broken, do not resell" and I returned then reordered the same thing and got the one with my note on it — twice in a row 🤣. Recently I ordered a door-hanging shelf and there were some missing screws.
I've had fairly good luck with AWD, and not run into something that would turn me off to them like some people have (e.g. feces instead of a graphics card). My overall Amazon experience has gone to shit in general, but that's another story

It's 2024. An online retailer turns me off the moment they don't protect me as a buyer when they take my money and don't hold up their end. Amazon is pushing their luck with the most ridiculous returns lately. I ain't hanging around until they send me feces 🤣
I recently ordered a Samsung Z Fold 5 phone case that included an attached stylus pen from Amazon Warehouse that was "Used Like New" and when I opened the box the stylus pen was missing. I mean, we are talking about an $80 purchase, I was livid.

Used to be if in the sellers section selection, it said 'like new, will come in original packaging', it was usually fine. Lately though, it's been really bad, for me at least. Stuff showing up obviously very used/missing parts and pieces, that should be easy for a worker to see on a quick inspection.
They due refund, but I stopped trusting Amazon's used item grading system and haven't been ordering as much from them. In addition to all the above, they are getting too preachy and making weird choices in the app that has really been making shopping with them less enjoyable. More and more of my business has been going to Walmart and other places.

I'll say this, very very rarely have I witnessed that the condition (Like New, Acceptable, etc" is actually accurate. I feel like many items are just passed over and given a random condition based on how many they have in the 'warehouse'. I always assume a product was just opened and returned. I have gotten 'acceptable' air conditioners for 70% off and when they arrived the box had never been opened. Plastic and twist ties still on the wiring and everything. I had 'good' condition pair of sneakers that still had tags, stickers, and the laces were tied in the 'new shoe' way.
A problem I had was with a "Like new" cooler. It was extremely scratched and scuffed. The molding was separating from the siding and you could see the foam inside and rust. The manufacturer date was stamped in the molding and it was almost 15 years old, obviously someone bought a new one and returned their old junky one.
In the past year that I can remember 2 air conditioners, two espresso machines that are $800 at full price (one was brand spanking new, the other was probably used once), sneakers, a fan, an electric kettle, lights, phone cases and chargers, curtains, a yoga mat... and probably more. Some were lightly used or had mild wear but most were brand new regardless of claimed condition. With that cooler being the only stinker I can remember and that was also in 2022 (though there were probably a few times I returned things that I don't remember, nothing as bad as the cooler) - they offer free returns anyway.

Only order the ones labeled "LIKE NEW" and it'll be a hit or miss, more often will be a hit, though. I purchased a "LIKE NEW" Jabra headset. Saved myself $100 off retail on a headset that was probably returned because the user failed to update the firmware, which fixed a bunch of bugs.

Yep, I joined Walmart + (Plus) six weeks ago and have since used Amazon less.
Anyone have this one and the white light version as well? I'd want to know how their white lights compare since I almost never use anything else, but the price is good. Some of my rgbw bulbs have awful looking white modes, so I've been wary about buying more. I got a couple of the white light version recently and like that it dims very low. It can get significantly dimmer than one of my nightlights, which is nice since that is mostly how I use them. Lifx is even better, but currently it's twice the price.

I try to make sure that anything from the warehouse I order is hard to mess up (at least on the surface). I've ordered stuff like bit sets that just had bits missing...I figured they could count, but that was not a safe assumption. However, I've gotten several fire tablets that I use as displays that were fine and a few other closed electronic items (no pins to be bent) that are fine as well. It's a bit of a dice roll so just don't use the warehouse for something you need desperately or urgently as there's a good chance you may have to send it back...for the next sucker to buy.
