Looks like this is the same deal from a couple of weeks ago. People were saying the washer is terrible so I think I'll wait on a W/D with better reviews.
My girlfriend has this set (brand new) in her apartment after waiting almost 3 months for stock. I've never heard a louder, more annoying washer in my life. The gearbox, or whatever cheap crap they use, makes this whirring/grinding noise that sounds like a cat in heat on it's deathbed. The water sloshing around, the bangs, it's enough to drive you crazy if it's anywhere near your living area.
At first i thought it was defective and the bearings/gears were shot but from seeing others reviews, it's just how it is.
I'd avoid this line of washers at all costs unless it's location is isolated and away from your living area.
I have a whirlpool refrigerator and because of it, i have sworn off whirlpool
wow after hearing SO MUCH bad stuff about LG and Samsung Fridges, and that Whirlpool is pretty much the best, I've been almost exclusively looking at them. Seems like all the brands suck!

This. ALL the brands suck. It's finding the best of the worse and rolling the dice, hoping you don't get a dud!

For me, its the ice maker...i have never seen a slower ice maker on the planet, it doesn't hold much (probably because its a side by side and the ice maker is on the door)
Also, its the little things, the ice some how comes out in the cup and the water splashes the cubes and gets all over...idk how it does it, but it will do it everytime and no matter the cup...first world problems i know
I bought this set when it was this price just a little bit ago.
I haven't noticed the washer being overly loud, but my last washer had bad ball bearings and sounded like a 747 was flying around my house. This is whisper quiet in comparison. 😉
It's been working fine so far for me. Time will tell if that continues. I do have the costco warranty + costco credit card extension.

All fridges are a hit or miss on all brands. You'll have to do your research on the model. I swear the less electronics involved, less likely it'll have problems.
I've replaced the control board on my kenmore fridge twice in its lifetime! First time, you can totally see one of the circuits fried. Now I've added a special fridge plug in case it's my power causing fluctuations or outage spikes.
Durable and especially nice since it's not all digital which have a high failure rate and if out of warranty, are very expensive. Friend has a 1 year old expensive Samsung and it's been down 3 times. Last time out of warranty and she had to pay $300 for a little door switch. A two years old unit.

If you want a decent washer/dryer, try Speed Queen. You will not find a washer/dryer combo for only $800 from them though.
