Gamestop's "new" games are open boxes, so if you need it for a gift, don't buy from them. They seem second hand.

Haters going to hate

This game is amazing. It's not as good as RE2 remake but if you liked RE2 you'll probably enjoy this one. I played this game without "looking" for the flaws and/or following the news and can say it's one of my favorites of last gen, RE2 Remake being my absolute favorite game of last gen. RE3 is actually more accessible in my opinion as it's more action oriented.

If you somehow haven't played games for a while the Resident Evil remakes are some of the more accessible games in the last few years. Most games nowadays have so many complicated systems with 5 different currencies to keep track of, leveling systems you'll need to study, crafting receipts you'll need to memorize and gather. The RE remakes keeps things simple and focuses on the fun. I love them wholeheartedly.

Indeed, no where near as good as 2. The game just feels off. You are only in the city for maybe 30 min, and it's small as hell. The game is super short too.

Plus Carlos sounds like a bad Keanu Reeves impersonator.

I thought it was a pretty decent game. It's definitely not as good as RE2 remake but it's still fun. Even though it's comparing apples to oranges, I would recommend The Village over RE3 Remake though.

This game is really fun. For $60 it's too short but for this price it's an absolute no brainer. If you liked RE2 Remake this game is similar. Yes the clock tower is missing etc. but I had a blast playing this.

Definitely felt much more compacted than it ought to have, but I did prefer not having an enemy chasing you around most of the time like Mr. X in RE2 remake. Definitely worth a playthrough at this price point, though!

Very fun game. More action focused which I like but isn't too long. But well worth it at that price.

Out of the remakes. Resident Evil 1 was basically the GameCube version with high res textures.
I didn't try RE2 or 3 yet. Any of the resident evil remakes really worth it ?

So people aren't entitled to opinions? I gave it a 4.5/5. Its a great game.
