For what it's worth, my electricity is $.109 per kWh. At 50% capacity, my break even point is about two years when comparing to gold models of the same size. This is running 24 / 7, if you're not using it in something like a mining rig, your return will probably take longer.

Seasonic has always been a top name in power supplies. They've been the OEM for many different company's power supplies for decades and have been making power supplies since 1980.

A really long time unless you're paying $10/kWH

Could even make it worse if you're already on the 650W sweet spot and you decide to be on the lower end of the load on a bigger PSU
