Buying giftcard from raise is a big headache, my 5 bj card was stolen or sold twice. i have to fight with them for couple months finally they refunded once i posted issue in app review
Just bought a couple more switch gift cards at 20% off total. I only buy eshop and playstation cards when they go on sale like this and have never had an issue. I always redeem them immediately just in case. Been using Raise for 4 years now apparently and at ~$1500 in gift cards purchased. I would be cautious getting gift cards for places that don't have as easy redemption though.
Edit: Also I've always gotten the gift cards in seconds when using the app.
Merry is dead. I think this deal is dead. I got an offer for $10 discount by signing up for SMS promotion from raise, don't know if that promotion is always allow eligible?
Wayyyyyyyyy too much of a headache. Think they sell giftcard codes to more than one customer cause 2 of mine was used after checking that they had the correct amount.
Refunded, but I wouldn't buy again to hold on.
There seems to be an unspoken expiration date with how Raise give out these gift cards O.o

More complaining -
Since they refunded my first order, they wouldn't let me reuse the promotion that was for "First time orders only" lol. Oh well, you learn.
I bought and sold on Raise for a few years without problems. Then they sent me a ~$20 giftcard that had a $0 balance. I filed a complaint and they said they would look into it. Give us 72 hours. Then after 72 hours they asked for another 72 hours. And again. And again. Once 30 days had come and gone, I told them if they didn't replace the GC or refund my payment, I would file a chargeback. They sent me another message that the matter was still under investigation, but, frankly, it was "impossible" that my card had a $0 value because it was a card they had sold me directly (Petco). I waited another week and then filed the chargeback. My bank found in my favor within 48 hours with a note about "Based on this merchant's chargeback history ..." Raise immediately banned me after that. Blackhawk always was, still is and always will shady AF.

The tiniest issue and you have to deal with their Cyber-Security Team. (on loan from the CIA/NSA I'm sure)
