Sony has announced that any owner of Uncharted 4, Uncharted Lost Legacy or Uncharted Lost Legacy Digital Bundle will be able to upgrade to the Legacy of Thieves Collection for $10. Those with a disk version of the game will need to have the disk in the console while playing.

Please note this digital upgrade does not include if you obtained the game as a part of PlayStation Plus. For those who have a PS5 Disk Version. Target has lost Legacy on sale for $9.99

Unpopular opinion apparently, but I don't mind paying an extra $10 for an upgraded version of an old game. They made these a while ago and then had to go back and do more work to apply the upgrades, so I don't think it's crazy for them to get a modest fee for that, or else they have no incentive since people probably aren't still buying those older games. I almost definitely would never have gone back and played either game without an upgrade, and I still might not, but at least with the upgrade I will consider it since it would be a better experience. By contrast, I wouldn't want to have to pay extra for new gen stuff on a NEW game since that's basically the default now.

That's my understanding as well, you're SOL if you're a digital PS5 owner with a PS4 disc for either game, though.

BC and Smart Delivery/next gen upgrades are 2 COMPLETELY different things, I think you got confused there.

He's saying you may be required to have the actual ps4 lost legacy disc to play lost legacy portion of the ps5 upgrade collection

Meh this would just be a free next gen patch on xbox. It's nice it's coming to PC, but if I already bought all these on PS4 then seems lame to charge at all. Even 3rd party companies give you free next gen upgrades.

At least Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding had new content. This just seems like a next gen patch.
