Is this ok for humans? As a 6'2" single male with a girlfriend, I'm going for that wet dog smell balanced by my favorite Cologne Molto Smalto and platform shoes.

I ordered. Decided to check recent reviews. Yeah, canceled right away. I don't like playing the counterfeit junk game. Returned enough swapped, counterfeit, or arrived broken items this year. Don't want to get banned due to Amazon's bad quality control.

You all sound crazy. Counterfeit microsd cards and perfume/cologne makes sense since there is already a black market for those items. But Burt's Bees dog shampoo? I'm all for a good conspiracy theory but this is ridiculous. I just don't see some companies going out of their way to create knock off products for something that costs 3-5 bucks.

After checking other places. Looks like the product has bad quality control. Somehow getting ruined in transit or manufacturing. Last few Amazon comments pointed at counterfeit is all. Either way, it's a lottery I don't want to chance. There was confirmed fake $4 eos lip balm a few years back. There's a pretty low threshold.

I'm now curious about what the least sensible counterfeit item on Amazon is.

Lol, if you find it I'd be interested too. I'll make a fresh tinfoil hat and pop some popcorn.

What is the relevance? This acquisition occurred in 2007. Clorox also owns BBQ sauce and salad dressing brands. And Brita water filters. Once smaller brands like Burt's reach a critical mass it's more efficient for a conglomerate like Clorox to manage them to scale production. To imply "bleach company" owns "nature brand" as some kind of conspiracy is nonsense.

I got some Jason's Bodywash off Amazon. Product smelled kind of similar but no back label. Likely counterfeit or companies change their labels or packaging for Amazon? I don't know

This isn't an actual Burt's Bees product anyways. It's manufactured by another company called Fetch for Pets and they license the Burt's Bees name. Maybe that's why people are claiming counterfeit, but it's just a business arrangement similar to Trump licensing his name to other property management companies so they can slap his name on the building and attract fascists and foilhat people.

Oh and I have been using this on my dog and am not too impressed. It doesn't lather well at all, so you wind up using way more than you should. Some Dr Bronners works way better and requires much less.
