Also anyone know how long this $50 discount on the 5a is going to be offered?

EDIT: I found it good through Dec 26th.
If you are going to make a comment like that at least state why your believe that to be the case.
Apple is as bad - and apparently signed a secret deal with the Chinese government.

Samsung disables eSIM functionality on their flagship models (and claims it's because the carriers won't allow it - although Google and Apple seem to be able to persuade the carriers).

Motorola's only eSIM offering is the razr - and it's single sim to boot.

So who should I buy from, if I'm looking for 5G / dual sim with eSim?

Usual price is $450. So save $50.
Also Google increased iPhone trade in values.

Picked one up for Black Friday and so far it's been really good. Wish it were the same size as my old Pixel 4a but everything else is great.

Not seeing great trade-in values on iPhone SE (2nd Gen). Only $120.... if it was $200 or more then I'd probably buy. XR is $320 though... so not bad on that one.

How would you describe and compare them? I've currently got a 4a.

I'm gone wait it out a little longer. I anticipate this phone dropping to the $300 range in 3 to 6 months.

Saw a promo offer on the same page - if you are new to FI, you can get 3 months of the unlimited plus plan for free (redemption code sent through email; need to activate within 30 days). Limit one per new plan user; can't get it if you left FI within the last 180 days.

Nice bonus if you haven't tried FI, would like to try it and are looking at buying this phone.

Thanks OP.

No. It would have saved me some scrolling and reading if the original comment was "Google is bad news because of monopolistic behavior, such as..."

Especially since I got an XR from one of the Total Wireless deals for less than $200.
Even though I've only had the XR for a few months I couldn't resist the trade in credit. The Pixel is unlocked and has 128gb storage, better screen, etc. Not bad for minimal out of pocket purchase.
