Definitely worth it. The $5 monthly reward can be used twice (YMMV), once in store and again online (take a screenshot of it before using in store and use it online as "promo code" quickly). The 10k points can be used in store or online, just make sure to pick the right one.

So can you just buy $5 worth of gift cards each month? Seems like a decent deal you get $70 worth of stuff for $10.

Easiest thing to buy is $5 game credit like Nintendo eShop; they can print that small an amount on the register.

Can you use this to renew and extend your membership?

Do I first use my 10k points I already have for a $10 in store coupon? Then would I go in store to ask them to buy 1 year plan using the in store coupon? Would this extend my member (which already ends in December 2022) to dec 2023?

And then later I would get 10k points?

If you want a $5 gc, they can sell you a $5 digital code for Xbox, Nintendo,and PS) through the register (the code is just on the receipt). But they don't have $5 physical cards.

You can purchase a $5 PS card at the register. They just print out a digital code on your receipt. That's what a lot of people do. I haven't officially done it because I only discovered it a few months ago. Even the clerk offered to do it for me when I couldn't find anything. But when I went to pay, they couldn't find the credit on my account and my phone was dead, so I couldn't call up the email with the reward on it. I've found stuff to buy since then.
