Definitely worth it. The $5 monthly reward can be used twice (YMMV), once in store and again online (take a screenshot of it before using in store and use it online as "promo code" quickly). The 10k points can be used in store or online, just make sure to pick the right one.

So can you just buy $5 worth of gift cards each month? Seems like a decent deal you get $70 worth of stuff for $10.

Easiest thing to buy is $5 game credit like Nintendo eShop; they can print that small an amount on the register.

You can use the $5 code online. I used it last week. I've heard that you can copy the code online and use the $5 in store and then use the code on their website essentially getting $10 off (2 transactions)

I'm thinking trading in my Microsoft Xbox One S. It's showing as $220 for store credit or $176 for cash. I'm wondering if the store credit expires? If I can buy gc?
I've been inside a GameStop maybe half a dozen times the past decade and rarely ever buy anything. So if it does expires, I would go the cash route. Rather get that extra $44 though.

Can you use the welcome bonus (and monthly $5 bonus) towards third party e-giftcards like Netflix? We don't shop Gamestop much, but do trade games and stuff there so the pro rate would help.

This is a no brainer if you are already a member and have points. If I understand correctly, You use up 10k points, and you get back the 10k points, plus you extend the membership for a year. The $5 certificate per month more than pays for the membership IMO. I just get a pack of MTG cards or put it towards a cheap game every month.
This is what i do every month. Just get a pack of MTG. However, most of the gamestop in my area only have the 5.99 packs, the 3 packs for 12.99, the sets no one wants.

Does the 10,000-point sign-up bonus have an earlier expiration than your regular reward points? That is, I can stockpile those points just like the regular ones?

All these questions have been answered many times. No, your trade in credit DOES NOT expire. Yes you can buy certain gift (mostly gaming gift cards) cards such as Xbox, PSN, Nintendo, Uber, Door Dash etc. You CAN NOT buy Amazon, Visa gift cards.

FYI 10,000 points showed up for me fairly quickly.. less than 12hrs. I enrolled around 7:30 this morning, just checked at 6:00pm and I see the points are now on my account.

Let us know. I'm already a Pro member so I wanna stack another year if I can get the 10k bonus.
Confirmed!!! Pretty crazy that you basically get a free year of Pro with this promotion if you used your points. Redeemed the 1-year membership reward using 10,000 points. Went to the store to use it. The points didn't show initially, but showed up about 3-4 hours later. I may redeem another 1-year and see if I continue to get the 10k points back.
