This was $69 a couple weeks ago, but still a good price.

Rosewood is OOS BTW.

Amazfit smart watches at about $60 are great, with GPS and 12+ hours in GPS-tracking mode. With 3-4 hours of GPS tracking I charge mine weekly.

You're right, the price went up on the black. Rosewood is showing OOS online for me, but maybe some stores have it in stock... mine does not.

I am sure they thought fitbit is threat to Android wear OS and wanted to curb competition. They clearly had no plan to improve fitbit.

Funny it still has Alexa integration.

seems like you like the amazfit…how's the app on your phone? one reason i can't get away from fitbit is bc i love the app (iphone).

The app is generally good, but I really don't understand why they won't program for a darkmode option. People have been asking for years, and so many other apps have stepped away from the "we will hit you with the brightness of the sun" design choices. But, as someone else said in this thread- it doesn't seem that Google has any plans to improve the fitbit line/support much. It does feel like they're treading water at this point.

data on all the fitbit users. the intention was never to improve anything. google is ALL about data. data is more valuable than gold or oil.

fitbit data + phone data + gps + home sensors (temp, cameras, door . . .) + search history + email history === they know your age, gender, health, when you go to work, how long you work, what you do at work and outside of work, who is related to you, your friends, what you eat, when you sleep, your look, who comes to your house . . . . . .

Can't compare apps, last time used FitBit many years ago. Amazfit Zepp app(I am on Android) is not perfect, but for me on my phone it's stable and auto sync to Strava. I like Amazfit watch mostly for the battery life and showing the current speed(like last 50 meters average speed), not the whole session average speed.

I got this for $69 + $8 extended warranty. The Mii Band 6 that I purchased on the same day (11/27) has yet to arrive, although it's supposedly arrived in LA.

Report back when you get your mii 6 band. I've been looking at both for Strava integration strictly for runs and bike rides. Either the Fitbit or amazfit are current runners up. Wasn't aware that the mii 6 was any good
