I hate it when they dont specify battery capacity.What should people think if they just say 4 cells.

OP do you have any idea what is the capacity ?

The best it has been reported is 7-9 hours max.

For me it would be less than that. I am looking for a windows laptop with macbook level battery life

That would be the surface laptop 4 then. Even though advertised for 17 hours, it gets around 12-14 hours with light use.
Still not MacBook level but pretty good.

Any Ryzen 5000U series laptop with over 50 WHr battery will give you 10 hrs with moderate usage. All Intel CPUs, including 11th gen, sucks in battery life. Look for Zenbook 14 with 5000u series cpu which comes with a Massive 67 WHr battery. That has a phenomenal battery life. If you're looking for a dedicated gpu, check for Acer Swift X.
